After an extensive national search, I am pleased to announce that Mr. Jonathan Brennan has been hired as the Chief Information Officer for Hudson Valley Community College. He will begin work on Monday, June 6.
Mr. Brennan comes to us from SUNY Delhi, having served as its Chief Information Officer since 2010. Prior to that he was the Director of IT Services at The Sage Colleges. He has a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Networks and Systems Administration, and has 18 years of IT experience. Well respected in the field, Mr. Brennan is an Executive Board member of the Council for Chief Information Officers, SUNY and the Computing Officers Association, SUNY. He also served as a member of the 2015-2016 EDUCAUSE IT Issues Panel for the special issue of EDUCAUSE review that identified the Top 10 IT Issues for 2016.
